Our most recet litter of just one beautiful male kitten was born almost 2 months ago. We've been calling him Sid and he's a real little character. It's with thanks to Maura Lennihan that we had the opportunity to use her beautiful stud boy Berry with our Coco and the results have been fantastic.

Sid is the first silver kitten we've had and he's absolutely adoreable. His colouring is still developing but we think he's a choc or brown ticked tabby on a silver background.

He'll be visiting the vet next week for the first vaccination and will be ready for rehoming at the end of October.

Cat Show News

Yesterday the 19th Annual GCCFI Supreme Show was held at the Roadstone Group Sports Club in CityWest in Dublin. Eddie qualified for this show after winning his open class and best of breed at the Annual SABCCI Cat show in Knocklyon last October.

The Judge's Report (Judge Shirley Bullock) from the SABCCI show is below:
AOV FOREIGN CHAMPION MALE

Gr Ch., Little’s CH PREFERE SYMPHONY. 72 45b.

A very self-willed young man, full of voice. A very handsome boy. Really solid
strong boy. Hard muscled body with medium length tail. Strong legs and paws.
Very masculine head lines with well set ears, but a little on the small side. Bright
expressive eyes of light amber colour. Good strong jaw angle and muzzle. Full
cheeks. Has nose break. Super fine close lying coat really well ticked, shows
necklaces and paw markings

This year, as last year, the Supreme show turned out to be a very successful day for Eddie. Again he won his class and best of breed and incredibly he also won the best of variety for foreign adult for the second year running (Asian cats come under the foreign variety along with Singapuras, Bengals, Abyssinians, Egyptian Mau and La Perms among others). Sadly he did not go on to win the Supreme Adult, that title went to a lovely tabby exotic. The overal Supreme Cat on the day was a delightful Ragdoll kitten who looked absolutely stunning. However, we are very pleased with how well Eddie has done and whats more, winning his class yesterday gave Eddie his third Grand Challenge certificate, giving him Grand Champion status now.
We also got a very nice report from the Judge (Mrs Leighton).

I'm afraid I don't have any pictures from yesterdays show, but here is a picture of Eddie from last years Supreme Show in the RDS in Dublin.

Kittens, Kittens and more Kittens!!

Fudge gave birth to another beautiful litter of 8 kittens in late January 2009. This litter had 4 chocolate self asian kittens and 3 chocolate ticked tabbies with burmese colour restriction (making them very pale chocolate) and one burmese variant.

The kittens have just had their first vaccinations and will be going to new homes soon. Some of the kittens are already booked so there won't be so many available from this litter.

The 4 chocolate selfs (3 girls and 1 boy)

The little variant male.

The three ticked tabbies (1 girl and 2 boys).

If anyone is interested in these or any kittens they can contact me directly using the contact details on the right side bar.
